Twelve races at Churchill Downs today will stretch from 11am until a nightcap scheduled for 7:34pm. Six consecutive graded stakes races — the final three of which are Grade 1s. And along the way you can find a $750,000 guaranteed Pick 6 that begins the day with a handsome $288K carryover from Oaks Day, a $1 million guaranteed Pick 4 that starts with race 7, and a $750,000 guaranteed Pick 3 that starts one race later, all of which conclude with Kentucky Derby 133.

For my part, a few of the horses being used heavily on tickets today include:

Race 3 — Marina Ballerina, who should be a square price behind the logical — yet vulnerable — favorites.
Race 5 — Istan, who enters this on top of his game and now gets Gomez.
Race 7 — Silverinyourpocket, hoping he simply didn’t care for Polytrack in his last two starts.
Race 8 — Absolutely love Pussycat Doll, but think she could get a stern challenge from long shot Sweet Fervor.
